My Christmas Gift From One of My Nephews

I want to tell everyone that i really had a great time at my Moms for Christmas. Not all the family was there. But there was 20 of us there. We were missing 9 to complete the family gathering. I do have one thing to say about my Nephew Justin Johnson he tricked me good. He was passing out lottery tickets. So i proceeded to scratch mine off. As i did so my eyes got bigger and bigger and bigger then i started hollering and dancing and shouting I won 5000.00 dollars. I was excited flinging my arms wooohooooooo .......but that was all shattered he had played a trick on his old aunt Sissy. He had given me one of those fake tickets and had told everyone and they were all watching and laughing, and taking pictures. Wow what a big let down. Oh but his Aunt Sissy took it in stride. Justin your aunt Sissy loves you but............ you had better watch out. It may be when you least expect it but i will figure something out........ So that is how my Holiday went. Hope some one else can top that Christmas gift.

I made these this morning.  This is not my idea, I got it from Michelle's Rubber Room.  She has a lot of great ideas.  Pictures are from my stamps tho.  I colored them in with Bic Mark-it Pens.  Then melted the images into the candles.

Special Birthday Blog Hop Today

Kathy Queen of Peachy Keen is having a birthday today and her daughters are doing a special blog hop in her honor.  It was Emma's site CreativeTimeForMe that i was first introduced to Peachy Keen Stamps.  Since then i have gone hog while so to speak in buying them.  Ha Ha.  I love them.  So i  made this Card for Kathy Hoping she has a great day. 

I took a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" pink cricut card stock  for the card
I used Summer In Paris Cart for the sofa done at 3"
I made the window, curtain, and valance free hand
and I tried to be careful with the eyes they are supposed to be in hiding.
I wrote  " Quiet, sssh, hide on the window with the gelly roll pin from PK

Inside  I went to the diet coke site (knowing that Kathy loves diet cokes)
and printed  4 diet coke cans cut them out and glue them all together to make it stiff
i found the candles on a piece of scrap paper cut the out and glue to coke can
i used zig 2 way glue.

Now for the back of the coke can I made my own  wobble
I took some jewelry wire wrapped it around my zig pen about 4 times
and cut it.  I took 2  1" circles  and punched a hole using a martha stewart punch  (little tiny hole)
I stuck both ends of the wire into the pink 1" circles and tape it down then i tape one end to my
card and the other to the back of the coke. (it works great)  I used  TERRIFICALLY TACKY TAPE
for both sides of my homemade wobble.

I made the Tear Kitty and the Pig Peeker and put behind the coke can.
I used the Happy Birthday from Joyslife's Father and Son's Stamps.
I found the surprise part off of a piece of scrap.

Tear Bear

I made this card 4 1/2 x 5".  The Bear parts are from CC-PK-012 Tear Bear (4x4).  I colored the bear with Pearlescent Chalks from Pebbles Inc.  The colors are not listed on it.   The card stock for card is from  DCWV neutrals.  The printed paper is also from DCWV christmas combo.  The tag is made from cricut paper green white is from Walmart.  The sentiment is From Joy  @ Joyslife.com  All around  sentiment Stamps.  The tag i think i cut from George Basic Shapes  at 2" and the white tag at  1 7/8" .  The holly cut from Winter Wonderland and the jewel is from Hobby Lobby.  The button is from Walmart.  The twine is from Papertrey Ink.  The body of the bear is cut from Walmart white card stock. I used gel pens i got at Sam's for the stitching.  I taped with my pink atg gun.   The little parts i glued with Zig 2 way glue.  Isn't the Cottage Cutz Tear Bear Adorable.

Well I wasn't crafty today.  Trying to catch on some sleep this morning.  I have had a cold for about a month now and it just doesn't want to leave.  I did put ears on my dear and put a little bling to the card.  I have been busy with all the blog hops too.  I did one this morning for the Yourstory.  And Miss Joy is having one tomorrow or some one is. I love blog hopping.

Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge 42::Emboss It

Hi this is my very first Challenge Ever.  Hope i am doing this right.
I used plain white card stock from walmart for the dear.  I also drew the deer myself.  ( you probably could tell that.)  I used Bic Mark It  Woodsy Brown, Tuxedo Black and Honey Brown on him.  For the eyes i used PK-136 (large bear facial features)  The Scarf is from Cottage Cutz pig peeker ( i cut it down to fit his neck) 
For the embossing i used Zing EBP glitter finish red for scarf and nose.
On the Tail and stomach and breast i used Zing EBP White Opaque finish.
Knot on the scarf i used Zing EBP Metalic finish  teal.  For the freckles on face i used the Gelly Roll pen i purchased from Peachy Keen Stamps.
The card stock is from the nuetral colors DCWV. Cut at 5 and 1/2 by 5 and 1/2.
The printed paper is from DCWV  Christmas Combo  Cut at 2 x 2 1/2
The sentiment is from our Friend Miss Joy from Joyslife.com 
The sentiment inside of card is from some stamps i got at Hobby Lobby

My First Card

For this project i used Plain white card stock from Walmart.  The green is from DCWV and so is the checked and the red with dots.  The hat came from PKS  PK-350 Colby and Jack Cheese.  The Pig came from Cottage Cutz Pig Peeker with PKS face.  The Bowl and spoon came from Cricut Cartridge  FROM MY KITCHEN.  I use Bic Mark-it Ultra Fine and Fine Markers.  White Gelly Roll from PKS.  I used Copic marker R20  Blush I got at Hobby Lobby.  I used Black gel pen i had got at Sam's.  Other items used are the tag from eksuccess, regular tape, stickles frosted lace, zig 2 way glue, sticky tape from Hobby Lobby,  and for the stamps I used Joyslife All Around Sentiment,  and on the very back I used a stamp I had made for me by Stampup saying this was handmade by Victoria.  That about somes it up I hope you like it.

Follow up on Necklace and Earrings

I got my idea for the box from Mary at Cardz TV or Ruthie At September ninth not sure.  On my necklace and earrings i have been watching Miss Emma from MyCreativeTime.  All these ladies are very talented.

THANKSGIVING

Well i am back home.  We went to Arkansas for a Family gathering.  It was great to see My children, grandchildren, My Mother, Brothers, Sis, Nephews, Greatniece.   It was nice being all together,but there were 13 not there.  Wow that would have been 32 people if we had all been there.  We had lots of food.  I ate too much as usual.

I don't know how i did it but somehow i became my own follower.   Gosh i don't know how to  get rid of me either.

For those of you that don't know it Joy on Joyslife.com is doing something special everyday for the Month of October.  Some days she has halloween crafts, but other days she has her crafts with a little something extra.  She does some giveaways.   I won something on the 5th day of the month and I just received my gift.  It was a bottle of ZIP DRY.   WHOOOO HOOOO i can't believe i won.   If you have never been there go and see.  Shes a pretty cool lady.   Don't forget  Joyslife.com       Oh and if  I could figure out how to put pictures up I would take a picture of my winnings.   But i guess i will learn that in time.   For now its just my ramblings.
